Hi I'm Iris and that's me as a baby. Now I'm an adult, and a filmmaker based in London (or so they say).  

I like writing characters who don't know when to stop because I always know when to stop. 

My most recent short 'Micro Bangs' has screened at BFI London Film Festival, Raindance, Bolton, Hollyshorts and London Short Film Festival. My previous films have screened at BAFTA- and BIFA-qualifying festivals including Aesthetica, Women X (where I was nominated for the Rising Star Award) and Kino London. I have twice premiered online with Directors Notes and received over 130k views on their YouTube channel. I've won awards including Best Director, Best Comedy and Best Short Film. 

Sometimes I work as a 1st AD, script supervisor and audition coach for actors. I currently have two short films in development, alongside my fourth feature screenplay. 

I also work part-time as a union organiser, coordinating workplace campaigns with predominantly low-paid women and migrant workers across health, social care and schools.
